Enayetullah Khan, Editor Emeritus of United News of Bangladesh (UNB) and Dhaka Courier, will represent Bangladesh at the 2025 Global South Media and Think Tank Forum in China.

This landmark event, to be held on September 5-7, 2025 in Kunming, Yunnan Province of China, brings together media leaders and experts.

The forum serves as a vital platform for media organizations, think tanks, government institutions and businesses to enhance the Global South’s collective influence and amplify its voice on the global stage.

Under the theme “Empowering Global South, Navigating Global Changes,” this year’s event will bring together leaders and experts to engage in high-level discussions on:

1. Championing Unity, Building Consensus – Global South’s Voice for Peace
2. Coordinating Development, Igniting Growth – Global South on the Rise
3. Strengthening Bonds, Blazing New Trails – Global South’s Collaborative Power
4. Bridging Cultures, Fostering Understanding – Global South’s Cross- civilizational Dialogue

Sub-forums will explore critical areas such as global media strategies, AI-driven transformation, world heritage conservation, and South-South cooperation frameworks.

Additionally, delegates can participate in curated side events and cultural tours designed to foster deeper engagement and deepen partnerships, reports UNB.
