Two additional specialist medical teams from the United Kingdom and China are scheduled to arrive tomorrow to assist the medical board overseeing the treatment of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at Evercare Hospital in the capital.

BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed the development to BSS, citing the party chairperson's personal physician and BNP standing committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.

He said the visiting experts will provide further support to the existing medical board.

"The team from the United Kingdom is expected to land in Dhaka tomorrow morning, while the team from China is set to arrive at night," Shayrul said.

He added that the BNP chief's family and the party have called upon the nation to pray to Almighty Allah for her recovery and well-being, reports UNB.
