Lightning strike kills man in Kishoreganj

A man was killed after being struck by lightning at Karancha Barahati village under Dhanpur union in Itna upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Suranjit Das, 27, son of Parash Das, a resident of the same village.
The incident occurred when Suranjit was catching fish with his father in a water body near their house.
He was rushed to Itna Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty physician declared him dead.
Dhanpur Union Parishad Chairman Pradeep Kumar confirmed the incident, reports BSS.
