512 dengue patients hospitalized in 24 hours

A total of 512 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours after being infected with dengue , according to a regular report of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).


Of them, 280 were in Dhaka Division, 57 in Mymensingh Division, 109 in Chattogram Division, 72 in Khulna Division, 21 in Barishal Division, and 13 in Rangpur Division.

A total of 40,044 dengue patients have been hospitalized across the country this year. No one died of dengue in the last 24 hours. So far this year, 111 people have died from dengue.

In the last 24 hours, 726 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals. So far this year, a total of 37,193 dengue patients have recovered after receiving treatment in hospitals and have been discharged.

A total of 102,861 people were infected with dengue, and 413 people died from the disease last year, reports BSS.
