Eleven more die of Covid in Sylhet division

Eleven more people have died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours in Sylhet division on Saturday.



 Sylhet, 14 Aug : Eleven more people have died of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours in Sylhet division, health officials said Saturday.

Of the deceased, 10 were from Sylhet and one from Sunamganj district.

During this period, 343 new Covid-19 patients were identified in the division and the infection rate rose to 32.64 percent, said the divisional heath bulletin. 

So far, 48,452 people in Sylhet division have tested positive for Covid-19. And of them, 883 have died and 36,172 recovered to date, reports UNB.
