105 dengue patients hospitalised in 24hrs

A total of 11,383 dengue cases & 78 deaths reported since January 1, 2024.



Dhaka, Aug 26 - Another 105 people were hospitalised with dengue in 24 hours till Monday morning.

Of the new patients, 64 were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, while the rest were outside in Dhaka, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Some 1,092 patients are receiving treatment in different hospitals across the country.

A total of 11,383 dengue cases and 78 deaths have been reported since January 1, 2024.

Last year, a total of 1,705 people lost their lives due to dengue, making it the deadliest year on record.-UNB
