15 new Covid-19 cases reported in Bangladesh Thursday

The country has recorded 15 new Covid-19 cases in the past 24 hours, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). The cases were detected from 134 tests conducted during this period.


With these new infections, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the country has risen to 2,051,785.

During the same 24-hour period, 18 more people recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,019,398. No new deaths were reported, keeping the official Covid-19 death toll unchanged at 29,500.

The first Covid-19 case in the country was reported on March 8, 2020, followed by the first death on March 18 of the same year.
