8 dengue patients hospitalized in 24hrs in Ctg

A total of eight dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Chattogram city and district in last 24 

hours.

A total of eight people infected with dengue were admitted to government hospitals in the last 24 hours, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam confirmed. 

According to the Chattogram Civil Surgeon's office, a total of 345 people were admitted to hospitals in the city with dengue virus this year. Of them, 76 were infected in the current month of June. 

Of the infected, 157 are residents of the city and 188 are residents of the district. The infected people comprised of 194 men, 96 women and 55 children.

District Civil Surgeon Dr. Jahangir Alam said at least 51 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals in the city. A total of two people have died this year from the dengue fever.
