Human chain organised by the Patuakhali Press Club on Saturday



Patuakhali: Patuakhali Press Club organized a human chain program to protest the attack on Journalist Bilas Das, a staff reporter of Daily Jugantar and to demand speedy arrest of the attackers and justice.

District Awami League president Alhaj Kazi Alamgir Hossain, district Awami League leader and former upazila chairman Alhaj Sultan Ahmad Mridha, district Communist Party president Md Motaleb Molla spoke demanding justice for the incident in an hour-long human chain organized at the Patuakhali Press Club premises on Saturday afternoon.

Patuakhali Press Club President Kazi Shamsur Rahman Iqbal, District Journalist Union Convener Nirmal Kumar Rakshit, Combined Cultural Alliance District Branch President Swapan Banerjee, Sujan Joint General Secretary Md. Abul Hossain Talukdar, Bangladesh Puja Udjapan Parishad District Branch General Secretary Ad. Sanjay Kumar Khaskel, Betagi Press Club General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Iran, Mirzaganj Press Club General Secretary Rafiqul Islam Saddam, Dumki Press Club and District Chhatra League leaders also expressed their solidarity with the human chain.

Strongly condemning this disgraceful incident from the Human Chain, demand was voiced to arrest and punish the culprits are quickly.
