Woman commits suicide in Gazipur

A woman committed suicide at Tongi in Gazipur city on Thursday night.



A woman committed suicide at Tongi in Gazipur city on Thursday night.

Deceased was Julekha Begum, 45, a resident of Satais Paschimpara Sikdar Market area.

According to locals, the woman hung herself from a ceiling fan in her room due to a feud with her mother.

Family members rescued her and took to hospital where she was declared dead.

Later, being informed, police sent the body to hospital morgue for autopsy.
