A young man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon district on Thursday.



A young man was crushed under the wheels of a train at Sadar upazila in Thakurgaon district on Thursday.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Thakurgaon Fire Service and Civil Defence official Redwanuzzaman said Dhaka-bound Drutojan Express train ran him over in Postompur area, leaving him dead on the spot.
On information, fire service personnel recovered the dismembered body from the spot.
Thakurgaon railway station master Aktarul Islam said they informed the railway police to take necessary steps.
