3 dead in Jashore road accident

Three people were killed in separate two road accidents that took place in Jashore district on Sunday (December 25) evening.



Three people were killed in separate two road accidents that took place in Jashore district on Sunday (December 25) evening.
The deceased were identified as Khokon, 35, son of Abdul Mannan, resident of Kazipara area, Shimul Hossain, 34, son of Hannan Molla, of Office para area and Arman Hossain, 36, son of Monjurul Islam of the city.
Locals and Jashore highway police said Arman, Khokon and his brother Liton went to drive a private car for test. At that time Khokon lost control over the steering of the car and hit a roadside tree, leaving them critically injured.
On information, locals rushed there and took them to Jashore 250-bed General Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared Khokon and Arman dead.
Another deceased Shimul was going to Chachra area on his bike at that time a truck from opposite side hit his motorcycle, leaving Shimul dead on the spot.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Jashore Kotwali Police Station Tajul Islam confirmed the incidents.
