Saiful Islam, 25, son of Hanif Biswas, of Charmantaz in Rangabali upazila of the district, fell of Pubali-5 launch on Friday (March 10).
Police and family members of the victim said that Saiful was returning from Dhaka with his two other relatives. At one stage, he fell into the river water around 5:00am and went missing.
Confirming the matter, Dashmina police station Officer-in-charge (OC) Mehedi Hasan said police and fire service rescuers are jointly working to find the missing youth.
