A fire broke out at a plastic recycling factory in Bhakurta union under Savar upazila at the outskirts of Dhaka around 1:20am Friday, was doused.



A fire broke out at a plastic recycling factory in Bhakurta union under Savar upazila at the outskirts of Dhaka around 1:20am Friday, was doused.

Leather industry fire service leader Manwar Hossain said on information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot instantly. Later, five more units were sent to the area and brought the blaze under control after one hour effort.

The estimated loss and reason behind the fire incident could not be known immediately. No casualty was reported in the incident, he added.
