Human chain in Kalapara demands stoppage of harassment in drawing land acquisition money.

Patuakhali: Locals along with the affected families formed a human chain demanding stoppage of harassment, alternative employment and repair of the damaged road used for construction work at the Payra sea port of Patuakhali. Today, September 26, 2023, Tuesday, this human chain program was held in the market adjacent to Mujib Killa of Tiakhali Union of Kalapara Upazila.

Mamun Howladar, UP member Salma Begum, teacher Jasim Mollah among others spoke in the human chain under the chairmanship of Md. Kabir Talukder, who was affected by land acquisition in Payra port.
