Patuakhali: Bangabandhu's daughter, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is coming to Kalapara of Patuakhali on Thursday (May 30) afternoon to visit the affected area of Kalapara coast of Patuakhali and distribute relief to the affected people. She will land at the Kalapara helipad by plane on Thursday around 12:30 pm. Later, around 12:40 PM, She will distribute relief to 2,000 distressed people at government Mozahar Uddin Biswas College ground. After distribution of relief, she is scheduled to exchange views with high-level officials of Barisal division in the conference room of Payra port at 2 pm. After the discussion, she will return to Dhaka by air from Payra Port, Patuakhali District Commissioner Md Nur Qutubul Alam said. 

Meanwhile, around the arrival of the prime minister, there is now a glimmer of happiness in the eyes of the distressed people of the coast. The only demand of the people of the flood affected coastal areas to the Prime Minister is 'We want sustainable flood control dam '. The affected people of the cyclone affected areas say that there is no alternative to sustainable flood control dams to protect the lives and property of the people in the coastal areas. 

To make the Prime Minister's visit a success, a preparatory meeting was held at Kalapara on Tuesday at the initiative of the district administration and the district Awami League. Jubo League, Chhatra League marched in the city around the arrival of the Prime Minister. 

Kalapara police station OC Ali Ahmed said that the administration has completed all preparations for the Prime Minister's arrival. The entire city is covered in a security blanket. Several layers of security have been created in the city, including the installation of CCTV cameras.
