Man held while stealing rail clips in Mymensingh

Mymensingh, 15 Mar  – Police with the help of local people caught a man red-handed while stealing the clips of railway tracks on Dhaka-Mymensingh route near the campus of Mymensingh Agricultural University (BAU) on Friday night.

The arrestee was identified as Rajon, 22, son of Kashem of Kewatkhali area of the district. Mizanur Rahman, sub-inspector of BAU police camp, said one Shakil, a former gate keeper of  railway, spotted some people stealing clips near the low-down bridge rail track of the campus around 8:40 pm.

 

Later, he caught Rajon at red-handed while four others managed to flee the scene. A sack full of rail clips was also recovered from his possession.
