BCG arrests drug trader with 1.30 lakh yaba pills in Teknaf

The Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG), in a special drive, has arrested an alleged drug trader with 1.30 lakh yaba tablets worth around Tk 6.5 crore in Teknaf of Cox's Bazar.


“A special operation at around 1:00 am on Monday in the Alikhali area adjacent to Hnila under Teknaf Police Station detained the drug peddler with the 1.30 lakh yaba tablets wroth about Taka 6.5 crore,” BCG Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon told BSS today.

He said legal proceedings against the detainee and about the recovered contraband items are underway, reports BSS.
