The Bangabandhu Bridge authorities have collected Tk 3.6 crore in toll from 41,251 vehicles .



The Bangabandhu Bridge authorities have collected Tk 3.6 crore in toll from 41,251 vehicles that crossed the bridge in the past 32 hours ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the greatest religious festivals for Muslims.

The toll was collected in the past 32 hours till 8 am on Wednesday (April 19).

The bridge’s executive engineer Ahasanul Kobir Pavel confirmed the development.

Earlier, the Bangabandhu Bridge authorities collected Tk 2,09,64,500 in toll from 22,485 vehicles that crossed the bridge in the past 24 hours.
