A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is set to arrive in Dhaka tomorrow to evaluate progress on key conditions ahead of the disbursement of the fourth and fifth tranches of the $4.7 billion loan agreement.

The IMF team is scheduled to meet with Finance Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed on Sunday morning to kick off their visit.

According to the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance, the delegation will engage in discussions with various government departments over a two-week period starting April 6.

During their visit, the team will meet officials from the Finance Division, National Board of Revenue (NBR), Power Division, Power Development Board, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC), and the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
