Dhaka, Nov 26 - Awami League on Sunday announced the names of candidates for 298 constituencies for the 12th national election.

Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader announced the names of the selected candidates at a press briefing held at AL party office at Bangabandhu Avenue.

However, names of candidates for Kushtia-2 and Narayanganj-5 constituencies will be revealed later, said Obaidul.

Earlier, in the day, Bangladesh Awami League held a views-exchange meeting with the nomination aspirants.

The meeting was held at Ganabhaban at 10am with Awami League and its parliamentary nomination board President Sheikh Hasina in the chair.-UNB
