42nd special BCS results published

The final results of 42nd BCS examination were published on Thursday.



Dhaka, Sept 9 :  The final results of 42nd Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination were published on Thursday.

Altogether, 4,000 candidates were recommended for assistant surgeon’s post, said a press release of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

Meanwhile 1,919 candidates passed as non-cadre who were not recommended due to shortage of post.

Details of the results are available at PSC website: www.bpsc.gov.bd. The results can be known through text messages by typing PSC<Space>42<space>Registration Number and sending to 16222.

To fill up the 2,000 vacant posts of assistant surgeon amid the crisis of Covid-19 situation the PSC published a circular on November 30, 2020.

Later PSC added 2,000 more posts of assistant surgeons through another notice, reports UNB.
