BERC cuts furnace oil price to Tk100.39 per litre

The price of furnace oil used for electricity generation has been reduced for the month of August, officials said.


Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) today fixed the new price of furnace oil saying that the furnace oil will be sold at Tk 100.39 per litre. 

According to the BERC, the new rate will come into effect from tonight.

Earlier, in July, the price of furnace oil had been reduced from Tk 113.54 per litre to Tk 109.10 per litre, reports BSS.
