"Culture and environment are interconnected, and a healthy cultural practice can play a significant role in protecting the environment," she stated. Rizwana stressed that culture serves as a vital medium for shaping human consciousness and fostering sustainable environmental and social progress.
"A person with a strong cultural foundation would never harm wildlife or destroy nature without a just cause," she added. "Healthy cultural practices contribute to the strength and unity of a nation."
The Ananda Academy for Performing Arts was established to offer young children and teenagers opportunities to engage in dance, music, and drama. Nasreen Sobhan, Chairperson of ASMT’s Board of Trustees, presided over the event, which featured performances by notable cultural figures such as Shamim Ara Neepa, Abeda Sultana, and Rebeka Sultana.
The organizers reaffirmed their commitment to promoting cultural education among the younger generation, ensuring the continued development of both the environment and society.
