The postponed Bangla second paper MCQ examination under Jashore Education Board will be held at 11.00am on September 30 (Friday).
The Jashore Board of Secondary and Higher Education issued a notice in this regard on Tuesday (September 20).
Exam Controller of the Jashore Education Board Prof Madhab Chandra Rudra confirmed the news.
The Jashore Education Board postponed the Bangla second paper examination’s MCQ component that was scheduled to be held on September 17.
The question papers got leaked due to the wrong question papers sent to three centres during the Bangla first paper examination on September 15.
The wrong question papers were handed out at the Pari Shankar Pilot Secondary Girls School centre and Bawishona Kamshia Secondary School centre and the Dighalia Secondary School centre in Lohagora upazila of Narail.
The question papers were replaced with the proper ones when the error was pointed out and students completed the exam accordingly.
Examination officials claimed that it wasn’t their mistake, rather it’s the officials of the BG Press in Dhaka who had committed the mistake by wrongly labelling the packages containing the questions.
