The Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board has made installation of CCTV cameras mandatory at all Dakhil examination centres to ensure fair, malpractice-free and peaceful conduct of the ongoing this year's exams.

The directive was issued through a notice signed by Controller of Examinations Professor Dr. Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan, instructing all centre secretaries under the board to take immediate action.

According to the notice, video footage recorded during the examinations must be preserved and sent to the board every seven days via email to the Controller of Examinations and the Deputy Controller of Examinations (Exam).

Terming the matter as urgent, the board said copies of the directive have been forwarded to the concerned Deputy Commissioners, Upazila Nirbahi Officers, District Education Officers and Heads of madrasahs to ensure proper implementation, reports BSS.
