4-day Art Film Festival begins at Alliance Francaise Dhaka

An Art Film Festival began in Dhaka on Friday at Alliance Francaise Dhaka



The first day of the 4-day Art Film Festival concluded at the Auditorium Nouvelle Vague, Alliance Francaise de Dhaka. Two films were shown, namely ‘Salvador Dali, genie tragic-comique (2012)’ and ‘Chagall, à la Russie, aux ânes et aux autres (2003)’ which was followed by a riveting post-film discussion among a panel consisting of the director of the films, Francois Levy; art critic Moinuddin Khaled, and the director of Alliance Francaise Francois Grosjean.

The festival will continue for three more days and you are invited to come and explore Levy’s films which offer deep insights into the world of modern and contemporary art, blending historical narrative with artistic expression to create a unique viewing experience. Post-film discussions will follow on all days.
