Ahead, a threshold bright with light

A chance to dream, to set things right.

Will New Year bring hearts to unite

Kindling hope with its radiant sight?

Oh, may it sow the seeds of peace,

In a world where hostilities cease.

Where hands once clenched in anger’s embrace,

Now build together, a loving space.

Will tribes and nations, divided and torn-

See in each other new kin reborn?

May we share Earth’s gifts vast and fair-

With every soul a home and care.

Let us welcome the horizon near-

With hearts aglow and vision clear.

As the old year bows and the new takes flight

May humanity rise, in love’s warm light!
