Five burn to death in Bogura plastic factory fire

Bogura, Dec 14 – Five workers were killed as a fire broke out in a plastic factory in Santahar upazila of Bogura district on Tuesday.

The identities of the deceased could not yet be known.

Ruhul Amin, station officer of Bogura Fire Service and Civil Defence, said the fire broke out at the factory around 10 am and it spread around soon.

On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze around 2 pm.

Later, the firefighters recovered the charred bodies of the five workers.

However, it is not still clear what actually caused the fire. – UNB
