Dhaka, May 18 – A fire which broke out at a hotel in the city's Karwan Bazar on Saturday morning has been doused, said Fire Service authorities.

Lima Khanom, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defense Control Room, said the fire broke out at the generator room of Hotel La Vinchi around 10:17 am.

On information, six firefighting units rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze shortly.
