Five dead, dozens hurt in wildfires in Turkey: minister

(BSS) - Five people died and dozens were hurt, 10of them seriously, as wildfires swept through several villages insoutheastern Turkey overnight, the health minister said Friday.

"Five people died and 44 were injured, 10 seriously," when the blaze sweptthrough two areas near the southeastern city of Mardin, Health MinisterFahrettin Koca wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
