Fire breaks out in oil-carrying vessel in Buriganga

A fire broke out in an oil-laden vessel in the Buriganga River near Fatulla Bazar in Narayanganj district on Wednesday.

The fire broke out around 13:32 pm and engulfed the vessel, said deputy assistant director of Fire Service and Civil Defense (media cell) Shahjahan Shikder.

On information, eight firefighting units rushed to the spot and are trying to bring the fire under control, reports UNB.
