A fire broke out at a warehouse in the Teribazar clothing market of Chattogram on Sunday, March 16, around 7:45 p.m. The blaze started on the second floor of a five-story building in the Khaja Market area, which primarily stores terry towels.

Upon receiving the emergency alert, six fire service units quickly rushed to the scene and worked tirelessly for nearly an hour to bring the flames under control.

Mohammad Abdullah, Deputy Assistant Director of Chattogram Fire Service, stated, "Thanks to the swift and coordinated efforts of the fire service teams, the situation was contained before it could escalate further. While the fire caused significant damage, the timely response prevented a potential disaster and minimized losses."

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire, and thankfully, no casualties were reported. The prompt action of the fire services ensured that the blaze did not spread to other parts of the building or surrounding areas.
