Fire breaks out in multi-storey building in Ctg

A fire broke out at a multi-storey building on Tamakumondi Lane in Chattogram’s Reazuddin Bazar on Tuesday night.

The blaze started at around 8:00 pm on the fourth floor of Rahman Mansion, where a shoe store is located, confirmed Abdullah, an operator at the Fire Service Control Room in the Chattogram region.

Upon receiving the alert, four fire fighting units from Nandankanon, Agrabad, and Baklia stations rushed to the scene and managed to bring the fire under control after one hour of effort.

As of the latest update, there has been no reports of casualties. The extent of the damage caused by the fire is yet to be determined, reports UNB.
