Fire breaks out at Gazipur jhut godown

A fire broke out at a jhut (fabric scrap) godown at Dewliabari in Konabari of Gazipur city on Saturday.

Mohammad Mamun, Deputy Assistant Director of Gazipur Fire Service, said the fire broke out at the godown at noon and spread soon.

Six firefighting units from Gazipur rushed to the spot and are working to douse the fire, reports UNB.

The origin of the fire could not be known immediately.
