3000 meters net seized from Halda River in Ctg

A team of Sadarght River Police in a drive seized 3,000 meters of current net from estury of Halda river under Raozan upazila of the district today.

   The police team led by Mominur Islam Bhuiyan, Superintendent of River police, conducted the drive at the estuary of Halda river at Madhunaghat point and seized the net.

   Mominur Islam Bhuiyan said regular drives will be conducted to protect the only natural fish breeding ground, its dolphin and biodiversity of Bangabandhu Fisheries Heritage Halda River, reports BSS.
