UNO distributes 30 maunds of sea fish among poor people in Kalapara
Kalapara UNO distributing sea fish among poor people in Kalapara on Friday June 23 2023.
Patuakhali: UNO Md. Jahangir Hossain distributed 30 maunds small species of sea fish among the poor and helpless people in Kalapara of Patuakhali. He distributed this sea fish among the helpless and distressed people living in Bangabandhu Colony in the municipality on Friday afternoon. Kalapara Senior Fisheries Officer Apu Saha among others were present at the time.
Earlier on Friday morning, UNO Md Jahangir Hossain seized these marine fishes along with a truck from the toll plaza of Sheikh Kamal bridge on Kuakata highway. A truck driver named Chattar (35) was fined Tk 5,000 for transporting fish during the ban period by the mobile court.
