FBCCI calls for minimum profit on food items, medicines needed for flood victims

Business community, industrialists urged to help the flood-hit people generously



Dhaka, Aug 25 - President of Bangladesh Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Mahbubul Alam has urged retail and wholesale traders to make minimum profits from the sale of dry food items, medicines, saline, baby food, pure water and other essential goods being distributed among flood victims .
People from all walk of life and organizations  are already taking dry food items, medicines, saline, baby food, pure water and other necessary items to the flood-affected areas.
In the wake of the situation, the FBCCI President issued a press release today (August 25) urging the  traders to make  limited profits.
He requested the business community and industrial groups to be more generous in helping the flood affected people.
Over 10 lakh families  have been stranded in 11 flood-hit districts of the country.-UNB
