Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said there will be no further price hike of goods during Ramadan. RAB, police and executive magistrates will be in the field for market monitoring.

He said this in response to a question from journalists at the Family Day program organized by the Rotary Club of Uttara at the Chandpur Police Line Auditorium on Friday (March 10) afternoon.

The minister said, “Before the month of Ramadan, don’t store goods. Because there is a cycle of product supply. If one thinks to buy and store everything at once, it becomes stressful. Everything is in sufficient stock, so there is no reason to increase the prices.”

Superintendent of Police (SP) Milon Mahmud, Rotary Club of Uttara President Samshul Karim Ruku and President Khandkar Abid Hossain were also present at that time.
