Bangladesh to face India tomorrow

Bangladesh face India in their ultimate Group B match of the AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualification, scheduled to be held tomorrow (Sunday) at the Do'stlik Stadium in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.


The match kicks off at 5 pm Bangladesh time.

Bangladesh, having failed to earn a single point from two matches, are now at the bottom of the table. With two consecutive defeats, their exit from the tournament now appears imminent.

The eight group winners and seven best runners-up from the qualifying round will advance to the AFC U-20 Asian Cup finals.

Earlier, Bangladesh made a losing start to the tournament, suffering a 2-0 defeat to hosts Uzbekistan and a 3-0 defeat to Syria in their second match.

India, on the other hand, beat Syria 1-0 in their opening match but suffered a 4-0 defeat to host Uzbekistan in their second match, reports BSS.
