Bangladesh eve soccer team face Malaysia in first match tomorrow

Dhaka, 22 June - Bangladesh women's soccer team take on visiting Malaysia women's soccer team in the first of two-match FIFA tier-1 Int'l friendly series scheduled to be held tomorrow (Thursday) at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamala Stadium in the city's Kamalapur.

Private satellite channel T-sports will telecast live the match that kicks off at 6 pm.

Addressing at a press conference held today (Wednesday) at conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Bhaban Bangladesh women's football committee's chairman Mahfuza Akter Kiran said they are equally sympathetic to the flood victims in Sylhet. The entire amount from the sale of tickets from the two matches will be given to the flood victims of Sylhet.

BFF will only sell general gallery tickets for these two matches. Each ticket in the general gallery will cost Taka 50.

Tickets for the second match will go on sale from June 25. The second match will be held on June 26 at the same venue.


The spectators will be able to buy tickets for the two matches from the ticket counter of Bangabandhu National Stadium, in front of the BFF Bhaban and Kamalapur Stadium area.


Earlier, the two matches were scheduled to be held in Sylhet District
Stadium, but due to worsen of severe flood situation there, the BFF shifted the matches in Dhaka.
