New football season to begin with Independence Cup Football

DHAKA -The new football season will begin with
Independence Cup Football on the occasion of fifty years of independence.

  The BFF is going to bring a little change in the schedule of new season.
Although the season usually starts with the Federation Cup, but this year the
season will start with Independence Cup.

  The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) want to organize the Independence
Cup next season on a large scale on the occasion of fifty years of
independence.

  The BFF will reveal the calendar of new football season's soon.

  In this regards, a press conference was held today at conference room of
BFF Bhaban to provide all the details of the meet.

  Professional League Management committee's (PLMC) chairman and BFF senior
vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy, PLMC's deputy chairman Abdur Rahim,
PLMC's member Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Nurul Islam Nuru and Elias Hossain and
BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, were among others, present at the
press conference.

  In the press conference, trophy and medals were handed over to NoFeL
Sporting Club, the runners-up team of the Bangladesh Championship League.BSS
