Women’s football team reach Uzbekistan safely

DHAKA - The Bangladesh national women's football team reached safely in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, from Nepal early today (Wednesday) to play the AFC Women's Asian Cup India 2022 qualifiers against Jordan and Iran.
After reaching there, all the players and officials of the team went through for COVID-19 test.

 The players and officials remained isolated until the test report come and had went had recovery, strength and conditioning and foam roller activation inside hotel split into three groups, according to a message received here from Bangladesh Football Federation this evening.

Subjected to the next COVID-19 report, the players are scheduled to hold practice at the gym and practice ground tomorrow (Thursday). All the players are healthy and safe.
 
Meanwhile Nipendra Chandra Debnath, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Bangladesh in Uzbekistan, came to the hotel to pay a courtesy visit with Bangladesh women’s team captain Sabina Khatun and team manager Amirul Islam Babu.BSS
