Uttara FC notch emphatic win in women's football

Dhaka, 18 Dec - Uttara Football Club, came from behind, registered an overwhelming 6-1 goal victory over FC Brahmanbaria in the Bashundhara Group Women's Football League held today (Sunday) at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur.

In the day's match, Lipi and Parul scored a brace each in the 69th and 90+1st minutes, and 85th and 89th minutes respectively while they were well supported by Rojina and Tonni who netted a lone goal apiece in the 55th and 72nd minutes respectively for the winners.

Rubina scored a lone goal for the losers in the 35th minute of the match.
