BFF to accord reception to Swadhin Bangla football team tomorrow

DHAKA - The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) decided to accord a warm reception to Swadhin Bangla football team for their outstanding contribution of liberation war and on occasion of celebrate the fifty years of independence.

     The reception ceremony will be held tomorrow at the conference room of BFF. 

     State Minister for Youth and Sports Mohammad Zahid Ahsan Russel, MP, will be the chief guest while Youth and Sports Ministry's senior Secretary Mohammad Akhter Hossain will be there as the special guest.

     BFF's president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin and his executive members will also present in the reception ceremony.

     During the war of liberation in 1971, Swadhin Bangla football team toured throughout India playing a total of sixteen friendly matches to raise international awareness and economic support for the liberation war.BSS
