DHAKA, Dec 12, 2021 (BSS) - After losing a valuable point against Nepal,

Bangladesh looking forward to staging a fight back as the host face touring
Bhutan in their second match of SAFF U-19 Women's Football Championship
scheduled to be held tomorrow (Monday) at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad
Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur.

Private satellite channel T-Sports telecast the match live that kicks off
at 3 pm. Tournament favourite India will also start their tournament campaign
on the same day as they meet lowly Sri Lanka in the second match of the day
that begins at 7 pm at the same venue.

Bangladesh earlier played out to a 1-1 goal draw with Nepal in their
opening match. Despite dominating the entire proceeding Bangladesh were
deprived of victory and they had to leave the field with one point.

But, this time the Maria Manda and Co. must take to the field to secure
full three points against Bhutan who earlier made a flying start in the
tournament crushing Sri Lanka by 5-0 goals in their tournament-opening match.

Bhutan already showed a good brand of football with their overwhelming
victory over Sri Lanka and they must be looking forward to maintaining this
consistency against Bangladesh.

Bangladesh were unlucky because they spoiled a number of scoring chances in
their first match against Nepal, despite getting bounty support from the
local crowd in the big bowl while credit must go to the Nepal team as they
were able to escape defeat and snatch one point from Bangladesh.

Bangladesh will play their third match against India on December 17 before
playing the last match against Sri Lanka on December 19 at the same venue.
