Fortis FC earn third win

Dhaka, 24 Feb-Fortis Football Club registered their third win in their last match of the first round Bangladesh Premier League football beating Chittagong Abaani Limited by 2-0 goals held at Shaheed Bir Flight Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on Saturday. 

After the barren first half, Fortis took the lead through a suicidal goal as Chittagong Abahani's Nigerian midfielder Lawal Muritala scored an own goal in the 76th minute.

Gambian forward Omar Sarr sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Fortis in the 62nd minute of the match.

The day's win saw, Fortis finished fifth position in the league table of the first leg with 12 points from nine matches while the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited remained eighth position with 10 points playing the same number of outings.
