Police FC edge past Ctg. Abahani in BPL

Dhaka, 29 March -Bangladesh Police Football Club edged past Chittagong Abahani Limited by a solitary goal in the second phase of ABG Bangladesh Premier League football that resumed Friday.

After the barren first half, Mohammad Al Amin finally broke the deadlock scoring the all-important goal for the winning side in the 79th minute of the match held at Shaheed Birshreshtha Shaheed Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.

With the day's victory, Police moved up 13 points from ten matches while the port city team Chittagong Abahani Limited remained at their previous credit of ten points playing the same number of matches.
