Brothers hold Fortis in BPL

Dhaka, 11 May -Brothers Union Club, came from behind, forced Fortis Football Club to play a 1-1 goal draw in the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League football held at Rajshahi District Stadium in Rajshahi on Saturday.

In the day's match, Gambian forward Omar Sarr scored for Forts while midfielder Akmol Hossain Noyon netted for Brothers Union Club.

Omar Sarr put Fortis FC ahead in the 39th minute while after the breather Noyon  restored the parity for Brothers Union Club in the 73rd minute of the match.

With eh day's outcome Fortis Football Club, standing sixth position in the league table, collected 17 points from 15 matches while the all orange Gopibagh outfit Brothers Union Club, remained bottom of the table with seven points playing the same number of matches.

Earlier, in the first leg, the two teams played out to a 2-2 goal draw held at the same venue.
