Women's football team holds 1st training in Nepal

Dhaka, 16 Oct - The Bangladesh national women's football team held their morning training session Wednesday at the ANFA Ground as part of their ongoing preparations for the SAFF Women's Championship.

The team worked on tactical drills and fine-tuned their strategies for the upcoming tournament, according to a message received here today from Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF).

Later in the day, the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) organised the official press conference for the SAFF Women's Championship-2024 at the Imperial Crown Hotel.

The press conference included a photo session featuring the head coaches and captains from the seven participating nations. The teams are eager to showcase their talent in this prestigious tournament.

Bangladesh women's team's skipper Sabina Khatun said their preparation for the championship has been good.

She said as the SAFF tournament creates an excitement among participating teams, it seems that everyone comes prepared well to take part in the meet.

The defending Champions Bangladesh will start their tournament campaign taking on Pakistan on October 20.
